Our Verification Standard: How Side by Side Meds Tests Every Claim

The "editor's pick" is the sponsor. And the "$149/month" in the headline is the starting dose price that doubles at maintenance — a fact buried in fine print or omitted entirely.

We do this differently. Not because we're saints — we're an affiliate site too, and we earn commissions from some providers we list. But because we believe accurate information and sustainable revenue aren't mutually exclusive, and because readers who trust us come back. Here's exactly how we work.

Pricing Verification

We check every price at every dose. Not just the starting dose. Not just the advertised price. We verify what a patient actually pays at 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1.0 mg, 1.7 mg, and 2.4 mg (or equivalent tirzepatide doses). If a provider advertises "$149/month" but charges $399 at maintenance, we show both numbers. Every time.

We verify pricing quarterly. Telehealth pricing changes frequently — providers raise prices, introduce subscription tiers, and modify their fee structures. We re-verify at minimum every 90 days, with ad-hoc checks when we receive reader reports of pricing changes.

Pharmacy Sourcing

We ask every provider four questions: Is your pharmacy 503A or 503B? Is it FDA-registered? Is it LegitScript certified? Can you provide a Certificate of Analysis on request? Providers who won't answer are flagged. Providers who answer with verifiable information are marked accordingly.

FDA Warning Letter Disclosure

We link directly to the FDA's warning letter database. We do not bury this information or omit providers entirely — we let readers make informed decisions with complete information.

What We Don't Do

We don't accept payment for rankings. No provider can pay to be ranked #1, receive an "editor's pick" badge, or be placed above competitors. Our ranking methodology is based on verified pricing at maintenance dose, pharmacy sourcing transparency, clinical support quality, and patient flexibility (cancellation terms, shipping, format options).

We don't fabricate reviews. We don't create fake patient testimonials, invent review counts, or attribute quotes to people who don't exist. If we cite a patient experience, it comes from verified reviews on third-party platforms.
